- They used the 8 inches rule, and obviously did not account for both observer’s height and refraction.
- They claimed the building would look crooked. At the distance of only 30 miles, the buildings will have 0.5° slant relative to the observer. We can’t perceive such small amount of slant.
- According to simulation, everything appears just like they should.
